Bernadette was in Commerce building, Paolo was in Engineering
Both of them were studying in the same school without even meeting
She finished her studies and started to work in Calamba, Laguna
While he remained in Cagayan de Oro “dahil sya’y mag-aaral pa muna”
An educational tour came up for Paolo and the rest of the class
To conquer Luzon and make each learner’s memories last
One free day, a classmate planned to visit a friend in Laguna
He joined with his friend, alas, Paolo and Bernadette met in KFC Calamba.
It was like at first sight for the two of them indeed
It was in KFC the transfer of affection succeeded
From then on, they became very good sweet friends
They became textmates though when he had to leave his “MU” friend
Back in CDO, they continue texting to make each other smile
Unfortunately, communication stopped for a while
Cellphone numbers had changed but destiny had managed
To keep them on the right track until they were engaged.
The day has come our Lord will finally bring
This two of God’s children into their wedding
The Lord will unite Paolo and Bernadette as his wife
To make new life and give new life.
